The Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder is a versatile tire for touring bikes and E-SUVs. It rolls quickly and quietly on asphalt while also offering grip off-road, on country roads and easy terrain. Well equipped for the daily ride through town and for spontaneous detours on unpaved paths.
COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE
With its high volume, the HYBRID Al Grounder offers cushioning and comfort previously only found in MTB tires. Its robust construction provides reliable puncture protection and makes it very durable. The Al Grounder is excellent for modern e-bikes, SUV e-bikes and can also handle heavier loads.
THE OPTIMAL TIRE PRESSURE
For the best comfort, puncture protection and durability, always ensure the tire pressure is correct (JH1.1). The Schwalbe Pressure Guide helps to find your optimum tire pressure. For adjustments we recommend using a pump with a pressure gauge or a separate pressure gauge, since a pressure test using your thumb is often unreliable.

VERSATILE TREAD PATTERN
The tread pattern of the HYBRID Al Grounder is designed with versatility in mind. The central section ensures low rolling resistance and a smooth ride on asphalt. The side lugs offer additional grip and stability on unpaved roads.
PUNCTURE PROTECTION
The robust construction of the Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder with reinforced side wall (Double Defense, DD for short) and RaceGuard puncture protection offers high puncture resistance for everyday riding and touring. The Al Grounder also meets the requirements of the ECE-R75-Norm and is approved for S-pedelecs.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CIRCULAR ECONOMY
The HYBRID Al Grounder comes with our environmentally friendly compound, ADDIX Green. This compound consists of up to 80% recycled and renewable raw materials making it particularly resource-efficient. For example, in ADDIX Green we replace petroleum-based oils with soy bean oil, use silica from rice husk ash and recycled carbon black (rCB) from our own tire recycling. Find out how it works here.
VISIBILITY IN TRAFFIC
Subtle reflective strips on the tire side walls of the Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder ensure you are always seen more easily in traffic. The reflective strips also meet the requirements of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations so there is no need for additional spoke reflectors.
