With its high volume, compound, construction and tread, it always gets you and your luggage to their destination.SUPER DEFENSEThe Motion Pick-Up gets its high puncture protection from the extremely stable six-layer 67-EPI double carcass which we have developed especially for cargo bike tires. It effectively prevents punctures and piercings reaching our second highest puncture protection level 6+ – the highest aside from our flat-less tire series. Hence we call it “Super Defense”.FAIR AND RESOURCE EFFICIENTWe have the know-how and manufacturing technology to make bike tires extraordinarily environmentally friendly – without compromising on performance. The smaller blocks in the side surfaces and shoulder areas are strong diamonds which deliver enormous grip when cornering, in the wet and on uneven surfaces.ADDIX E-COMPOUNDWe use the compound ADDIX E, which we specially developed for e-bikes, in the Pick-Up. It combines maximum durability with low rolling resistance and exceptional grip even at high speeds.TIRE PRESSURESince the system weight of your transport bike can vary hugely (i.e., you + bicycle + cargo), you should check the tire pressure regularly. The Motion Pick-Up needs a minimum of 2.5 and maximum 4 or 4.5 bar. If necessary, you can adjust it with a good pump – but make sure you have a manometer! In fact, the tire's extremely sturdy construction makes the thumb test not very reliable.CONSTANT PERFORMANCE IN GREAT VARIETYThe range of tire sizes is particularly wide for cargo bikes. That’s why the Motion Pick-Up comes in six diameters from 16 to 27.5 inch as well as even more widths. All versions are ECE R75 certified (E50), suitable for fast S-pedelecs too. It is a clincher tire, ridden with an tube and also has a white reflective strip on the side wall.

The load capacity is extraordinary: depending on the model the Motion Super Moto-X can carry up to 120 kilograms per tire making it suitable for even the most demanding transport tasks.SAFETY THROUGH TECHNOLOGYDISTINCTIVE TREAD PATTERNThe characteristic tread pattern of the Motion Super Moto-X with clear lines and form rolls especially well, as it is almost completely solid. The tread depth between the tread blocks and the textured outer surface reliably provide the necessary traction on roads, bike paths, and paved forest trails.ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE: ADDIX GREENLike most tires in the Motion family, we use our groundbreaking ADDIX Green compound in the Motion Super Moto-X. This delivers the best performance and is especially durable. With up to 80% renewable and recycled materials, ADDIX Green is our most environmentally friendly compound. We use carbon black from our own tire recycling.H3:CUSTOM TIRE PRESSURETire pressure is especially important in a balloon tire like the Motion Super Moto-X. By matching the tire to the system weight, you get the best performance from the tires and can fine tune its characteristics. On cargo bikes it pays to adjust the tire pressure accordingly when carrying heavy loads.
