New tread pattern
We have developed a completely new tread pattern for the MARATHON Almotion. Its modern, solid center profile ensures smooth operation and a long service life. The grippy outer blocks ensure traction in wet weather and high functionality in particular away from asphalt roads.
ADDIX Green: Durable and environmentally friendly
The MARATHON Almotion comes with ADDIX Green compound which combines huge durability, low abrasion and optimal smooth running. ADDIX Green is also our most environmentally-friendly compound – with up to 80 percent renewable and recycled materials, including recycled carbon black from our own tire recycling to replace industrial carbon-black produced from fossil fuels. It also contains renewable materials such as silica from rice husk ash and soy bean oil which replaces petroleum-based process oils.
The MARATHON Almotion also has E-50 certification for S-pedelecs with a maximum total weight of 150 kilograms and features a white reflective strip on the side wall.
