MTB PERFORMANCE FOR SUV: RADIAL AND TUBELESS
HYBRID Johnny Watts brings the innovation of MTB tires to SUV Bikes. The technology of the radial carcass provides up to 30% greater contact surface and a significantly better adaptation to the surface – unevenness and vibration are noticeably reduced before they reach your hands, arms or shoulders. This makes a real difference on long tours or poor roads.
Traction and grip are improved thanks to the consistently better ground contact, without increasing rolling resistance. An intelligently coordinated tread design combines efficient rolling with high control – even on rough or uneven terrain.
The result: a quieter, safer and more comfortable riding experience – on asphalt as well as gravel or easy terrain. This is a significant plus for safety and rider confidence for e-bikes with high average speeds.
GRIP OFF-ROAD AND RANGE ON CYCLE PATHS
As a true all-rounder, HYBRID Johnny Watts strikes a balance between off-road and road tires. It rolls easily and quietly on asphalt and cycle paths. The low rolling resistance ensures a pleasant ride and longer range. While on gentle terrain, it shines with grip and traction.
THE TREAD PATTERN FOR SUV E-BIKES
For a smooth ride and quiet rolling on asphalt and other firm surfaces, the HYBRID Johnny Watts has close lugs in the center which form an almost continuous tread. Its generous dimensions ensure durability. Towards the shoulders, the tread pattern opens up to offer off-road traction. The large side lugs are inspired by mountain bike tires and provide excellent cornering grip.
TUBELESS: THE REVOLUTION FROM CYCLING
The HYBRID Johnny Watts is tubeless-ready (TLR). With the correct rims (including hookless), tubeless valves and our Doc Blue Sealant, you can ride without a tube. It’s worth it: The tire rolls better without a tube and the sealant immediately fills any holes. In addition, without tubes you can ride at lower tire pressures increasing comfort and grip. Of course, TLR tires are also compatible with a classic or Aerothan tube.

Our ADDIX Green compound represents durability and performance of both tread and sidewall. With up to 80% renewable and recycled materials, this is our most environmentally friendly compound. We use carbon black from our own tire recycling, among other things.
