TUNING FOR ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE.
GET MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH YOUR INDIVIDUAL TIRE PRESSURE.
The only contact between the bike and the ground are the Tires. No other part of a mountain bike affects the riding experience more. Tires disproportionately affect the extent to which the potential of bike and cyclist can be maximised. Once you have found the right tire, you must determine the individual tire pressure, as this is the only way to obtain maximum performance.
Mountain bikes are rarely ridden with the correct tire pressure. Many bikers clearly have too much or too little air in their tires which means they aren’t getting the most out of their bikes. With the MTB Tire Pressure Prof, you can quickly and easily calculate the optimal tire pressure online. You can do this for all types of mountain biking with options for every rider.

RECOMMENDED
TIRE PRESSURE
PERFECT PRESSURE ENSURES OPTIMUM GRIP AND STABILITY
HIGH TIRE PRESSURE
+ Stability
+ Puncture protection
– Less grip
– Uncomfortable
– More rolling resistance on rough terrain
LOW TIRE PRESSURE
+ More grip
+ Better off-road rolling performance
+ Comfortable
– Less stability
– Less puncture protection
GOOD TO KNOW:
YOU CAN COUNT ON THE PROFESSOR.
It thinks of everything. Using the values that you specify, it calculates factors such as the approximate weight of the bike, clothing
and accessories. These and many other calculations are based on an algorithm that uses the expertise of decades of research and development.
All information refers exclusively to Schwalbe MTB tires. We cannot perform calculations for Tires from other manufacturers.
ALWAYS ADHERE TO THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE FOR TIRES AND RIMS!
(The maximum pressure is indicated on the side of the tire and rim. If you are unsure of the maximum allowable pressure, contact the manufacturer. If the specified pressure of the rim is lower than the pressure of the tire, the maximum pressure of the rim should be maintained.)
The Pressure Prof generates a recommended pressure based on the values entered. The optimum pressure is, however, always based on subjective considerations. If necessary, the rider may need to adjust the pressure accordingly.
If you have any questions about air pressure, contact Schwalbe customer service or a Schwalbe dealer.
